Hello, my name is Alimurat. I am currently a fourth-year student at Concordia University pursuing my Bachelor's Degree of Software Engineering. I am a chill guy who loves data and healthy snacks.
About Me
I was always curious about discovering the new features in life. I first started coding in Python when I was in Marianopolis College. When I first wrote my "Hello World" program, I felt the power in my hands such that I can code everything.
Initially, I started my academic journey in Health Science at Marianopolis College. However, I discovered my true affinity for mathematics, which led me to shift gears and pursue software engineering at Concordia University and do the things that I enjoy the most which is spending hours to fix that little bug in the code with a cup of coffee.

Managed and configured a DBT project prescribed by Quebec Government to remove redundancies in the data warehouse by creating structured tables and transformed datasets.
Established and configured data connections to Power BI that facilitates report visualization and provides actionable insights for analytical purposes.
Automated dockerized ETL pipelines using Airflow and GitHub Actions to extract the DBT project to integrate the transformed data into Microsoft Azure DevOps repository and load it into a server to create continuous integration and continuous development environment.
Built modern analytical environment based on docker to create the data warehouse for daily ETL injection into Snowflake.
Used Agile technique for effective project management and delivery, incorporated projects into Microsoft Azure DevOps with version control tool git.
